gymnastics
Each child who attends our preschool or kindergarten program receives a weekly gymnastics class. Our gymnastics instructors create obstacle courses to teach children basic gymnastics skills such as forward rolls, front supports on bars, kicks on the balance beam, running on vault, and jumping on the tumble track, while also incorporating play in our huge foam block pit! Our gymnastics programs have been specially designed to develop gross motor skills and social skills, as well as strength, balance, and coordination, in a fun and safe environment.

yoga kids
Children have the opportunity to participate in a weekly 30 minute Yoga Kids class. Yoga Kids is a fun and imaginative program that teaches children basic yoga skills through engaging themes, and encourages self-expression, while strengthening their bodies. Yoga during the early years helps promotes self-confidence and body-awareness, while also incorporating calmness, relaxation, and breathing techniques. Through Yoga Kids, children are given the opportunity to learn how to calm their bodies in a fun, play-based atmosphere.
swimming
Each summer, children that attend our center have the opportunity to swim in our pools under the careful watch of certified lifeguards. The GLCP facilities include 3 in-ground, heated swimming pools. Two of our pools are swim training pools (being only 3 feet deep), which are the perfect depth for preschoolers who are getting used to the water!
