Programs
God’s Little Children Preschool offers both full and half-day preschool and kindergarten programs that foster curiosity and creativity, and that help to develop basic skills, attitudes, behaviors, and concepts, which promote each child’s self-esteem and confidence. We believe that play and work are synonymous in the learning process of young children because play is the way a child learns! Through play, children develop their imagination, attention span, concentration skills, thinking skills, and problem-solving skills.

Other Program Features
Gymnastics
Each child who attends our preschool or kindergarten program receives a weekly gymnastics class. Children participate in a structured class, utilizing obstacle courses to teach basic gymnastics skills such as forward rolls on the floor, front supports on bars, kicks on the balance beam, running on vault, jumping on the tumble track, and playing in our huge foam block pit. Our gymnastics programs have been specially designed to develop and enhance fine and gross motor skills, social skills, strength, balance, and coordination, in a fun and safe environment.

Music
Bi-weekly, students participate in a music class with a teacher from Apple Tree Arts, in Grafton. Current research shows that early childhood (birth - 6 years) music education enhances all aspects of brain development, stimulates more neuron connectivity, and has a long-term impact on the brain’s ability to develop to it's fullest potential. With the internationally recognized Musikgarten curriculum, we strive to develop functioning musicians and finding joy in music. Through singing, dancing, rhythm, and discriminative listening, we joyfully find the musician inside every child.

Yoga Kids
Children have the opportunity to add on a 30 minute Yoga Kids class once a week. Yoga Kids is a fun and imaginative class that teaches children basic yoga skills through engaging stories and themes, and encourages self-expression while strengthening their bodies. Yoga during the early years has many benefits, and promotes self-confidence and body-awareness, while incorporating calmness, relaxation, and breathing techniques. Through Yoga Kids, children are given the opportunity to learn how to calm their bodies in a fun, play-based atmosphere.
Swimming
The GLCP facilities include 3 in-ground and heated swimming pools. Two of our pools are swim training pools (being only 3 feet deep), which are the perfect depth for preschoolers who are getting used to the water! Each summer, children that attend our center have the opportunity to swim in our pools under the careful watch of certified lifeguards.
